Land-based Military Radar
Land-based military radar vary greatly in size. Most are likely to be mounted on a vehicle which may mean that they have to be folded for transport. Some will on articulated arms so that they can remain hidden for most of their active service but then extended for short periods of deployment. All will be subject to bump loads during transport which puts demands on the slip ring assembly bearings and on the location of the brushes in the rings grooves.
